United States President-elect Donald Trump repeated criticism of current American President Joe Biden’s foreign policy record. The comments took place during a press conference in Mar-a-Lago this Tuesday (7).
Trump harshly criticized Biden’s handling of the crises in Afghanistan, Russia and Syria.
The Republican also said that “there were no wars”.
“We fight the Islamic State,” he added. “We didn’t have wars. Now there are conflicts with Russia, Ukraine and Israel.”
Trump reinforced that he would have withdrawn from Afghanistan “with dignity and strength, and not with dead or injured”. He also suggested that Joe Biden’s handling of the American withdrawal from Afghanistan inspired Russia to invade Ukraine.
