If you want fresh bread, you don’t have to run to the bakery. Just mix 500 grams of plain flour, 300 ml of water and half a bag of dry yeast. Let the dough rise for an hour in a warm place, then shape into a loaf and bake at 200°C for about 30 minutes. This bread is perfect for breakfast or as a side dish for soup.
Juicy fish with lemon and herbs
Preparing fish can be simple and yet delicious. Lemon, salt and herbs such as rosemary or thyme are enough for salmon or cod fillets. Sprinkle the fish with herbs, drizzle with lemon juice and wrap in foil. Bake at 180°C for approximately 20 minutes. The result will dazzle you with its freshness and delicate taste.
“I fill the fish belly with, for example, thyme and lemon slices. I use a simple marinade for fish, I mix a clove of garlic, sprigs of thyme, parsley, salt, pepper and a little lemon juice. To improve the taste, rub the fish with marinade both before grilling and after removing it from the grill,” advises chef Hynek Vávra for a very easy recipe.
Baked vegetables with olive oil and cheese
Zucchini, eggplant or broccoli taste great baked. Just cut them, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with grated cheese, for example Parmesan. Put the vegetables in a baking dish and bake at 200 °C for about 25 minutes. This healthy side dish is ideal for meat or just for baking.
