I’m here in Las Vegas, where the biggest technology event in the world, CES, takes place. Innovation giants, startups and technology companies present solutions that are already changing the way we live, connect and work. For agriculture, one of the most important transformations I have seen here is the autonomy of machines. , the world’s leading company in the supply of agricultural equipment, presented innovations that are breaking traditional agricultural limits.
The latest update of the 9RX tractor and the 5ML operate at high speed, with millimeter precision and without the need for operators. This means more hectares worked in less time, with a reduction in the use of fuel and inputs, which generates real savings and greater efficiency in the field.
The 9RX tractor will be commercially available in the United States starting this year. In Brazil, there is still no date. Among the factors that explain this difference in the use of autonomous machines are the lack of connectivity in rural areas of Brazil and the absence of regulation for autonomous vehicles. The expectation is that within a maximum of 5 years autonomous machines will be a reality in Brazilian agriculture.
There is a lot of innovation in the area of virtual assistants, robotics and technologies that are changing and will change the world even more. The revolution goes beyond technology: it is about changing the way of producing and making decisions in the field. Next week the Agro H Hour will present a special report directly here from . Don’t miss it!
