Bahia announces the signing of midfielder Erick, from Athletico

Reinforcements for 2025 are starting to arrive for Bahia, and the one who joins the signing season is midfielder Erick, 27 years old. For around 29 million reais, the player leaves Athletico for the Bahian tricolor, with a contract signed until the end of 2029.

South American and national champion with Athletico, the player was being scouted by Internacional and Santos, who even made offers for the midfielder. After choosing the tricolor, Erick already presented himself to Bahia last Tuesday (7), participating in the squad’s first activity of the new year.

For Furacão, there were almost 300 games over six years. In 282 matches, he was champion of Paranaense four times (2019, 2020, 2023 and 2024), won the Copa do Brasil (2019) and the South American Cup (2021).

Before Athletico, the midfielder played at Arapongas, the club where he began his professional career, and went on to PSTC and Operário-PR before arriving at Furacão in 2019.

With Athletico, he also experienced relegation to Series B last year, a season in which he was the most present player on the field, starting 58 matches and playing in 64. In these, there were six goals and two assists for the Minas Gerais native.
