Did Keir Starmer really protect “rape gangs”?

Keir Starmer is being accused of having protected “rape gangs”, which have been perpetuating crimes against girls since the last century. The British Prime Minister accuses extremists of not being interested in the victims.

The scandal of “rape gangs” or “grooming” has been going on for years in the United Kingdom, where thousands of girls were abused.

The investigations identified most of the attackers as British Muslims of Pakistani origin.

Now these facts are being used against the British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer – accused of covering up the rapists.

The debate surrounding grooming gangs was reignited last week, after it was reported by GB News on 1 January that the Government rejected Oldham Council’s request for a government-led inquiry about the sexual exploitation of children in the city, to the detriment of an investigation led by local authorities.

Elon Musk did the “favor” of igniting the debateafter denouncing, through a tweet, Starmer’s alleged responsibilities in protecting rapists.

“In the UK, serious crimes such as rape require the public prosecutor service (CPS) for the police to be able to charge suspects. Who led the CPS when rapist gangs were able to exploit young people without facing justice? Keir Starmer (2008-2013)” wrote Musk, on the X social network.

The Labor Party has since been accused of protecting attackers to avoid racial tensions and to win votes. On the contrary, Elon Musk has supported the anti-immigration and anti-Islamist agenda.

The “rape gangs” scandal is serving as a throwing weapon against Labour’s Keir Starmer; and the British far right has taken the opportunity to make various accusations and raise questions.

As writes, Social Services and the Police in the various affected locations have been accused of minimizing the scandal and protecting rapists to the detriment of victims, to avoid exacerbating racial tensionsespecially “against Muslim communities in general and Pakistani communities in particular”.

According to the same channel, several cases are highlighted in which fathers and mothers tried to intervene to rescue their daughters, only to end up being pressured into silence by the police, with the threat of arrest.

E even the victims were doubly victimssince many of them will have been arrested for prostitution and contempt without anything happening to the abusers.

“In one of the most shocking cases, a 12-year-old girl was found drunk and half-naked in a room with seven adult British Pakistani men. He was arrested and accused of ‘prostitution and disorderly conduct’. None of the men present in the room with her were questioned at the time”, says RTP.

The investigations carried out so far, in a scandal that has been going on since the last century, even indicate that some cases were not investigated due to “nervousness due to race”.

Extremists don’t care about the victims

In response style, this Monday, Starmer attacked politicians and activists who spread lies and misinformation about grooming gangs.

Quoted by , the British Prime Minister accused opposition MPs of “jumping on a train” and “amplifying what the far right is saying” to gain attention.

Keir said Labor was tackling the issue of child sexual abuse following the inaction of conservatives “for 14 long years”.

“Those who are spreading lies and disinformation as far as possible are not interested in the victimsthey are interested in themselves”, he accused.

“When I left office [de CPS]we had the highest number of child sexual abuse cases being prosecuted on record,” said Keir, refusing to have protected the aggressors.
