Security guard Luiz Fernando, father of Rafaela Santos, spoke about the accident that killed the 17-year-old teenager, on December 27, 2024, in Londrina, in the North of Paraná. A 12-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of causing the accident.

In an interview with RICtv, Luiz said that he went to the supermarket with his daughter to buy soda. On the way home, when their motorcycle was hit by the car driven by the teenager.
“I heard a really loud noise. After that I don’t know what happened. I just felt someone touching my chest and asking me not to move because Siate was coming. At the hospital, no one told me how she was,” said the guard.
According to the father of the teenager who died in the accident, his wife told him about Rafaela’s death. Furthermore, Luiz says he feels guilty about the accident.
“I felt guilty for calling her to buy the soda. The psychologist advised me that God knows everything, that it wasn’t my fault”, said Luiz.
Luiz Fernando also said that he does not feel hatred for the 12-year-old teenager who caused the accident. He also said that he feels sorry for the boy, that he won’t forget what happened.
“I feel sorry and sorry for him. In the same way that I won’t forget my daughter, he won’t forget the stupid thing he did. May justice be done. Punish what needs to be punished. It’s not easy. If he is not educated and corrected, he will not learn”, he said.
Remember the accident involving the teenager
A 17-year-old teenager died after a collision between a utility vehicle and the motorcycle she was riding. The accident was caused by a 12-year-old driver and occurred on Friday night (27), in Londrina, North of Paraná.
The 12-year-old driver allegedly took his grandfather’s Fiat Fiorino vehicle without authorization and at high speed collided with the motorcycle the teenager was on, in addition to hitting a lamp post.
The accident was recorded on the corner of Francisca Vieira da Costa and José Paiva Cavalcante streets, in Conjunto Lindoia.
Agents from the Military Police of Paraná (PM-PR) went to the scene and stated that the 12-year-old driver did not provide assistance to the victims.
He was taken by the police to the Londrina Police Station with his legal guardian.
