Marcos Vagner de Souza, a guard suspected of the disappearance of 17-year-old Isis Victória Mizerski, has been imprisoned for almost five months in the public prison of Ponta Grossa, in Campos Gerais do Paraná, and still does not have a date for his trial.

The young woman has been missing since June 6, 2024, when she left her home in Tibagi, in Campos Gerais do Paraná, initially, to find a man. Since then, police forces have been looking for the teenager. The police believe that she went to meet the security guard Marcos Wagner de Souza, who is in prison.

The security guard’s defense stated that they do not agree with the popular jury’s decision and that they will appeal to the Court of Justice of Paraná “with a view to reversing this first instance decision and acquitting the accused”, said lawyer Renato Tauille.

Marcos had an extramarital relationship with Isis. He said before being arrested that he met her at one of the parties where he worked. Furthermore, he confirmed that he met with the young woman to talk about pregnancy.

Marcos Wagner was temporarily arrested when he presented himself to authorities. According to the Civil Police of Paraná (PCPR), with , Marcos was indicted for gross reasons, concealment, feminicide, abortion without the pregnant woman’s consent and concealment of a corpse.

The investigator confirmed that he met with Isis on June 6, the date of the teenager’s disappearance. The security guard stated that he left her on a road in Vila São João, in Tibagi, in Campos Gerais do Paraná.

“She told me to stop the car so she would get out. And so I did, I stopped. Between the village and the Frísia cooperative. After she got down, I closed the car and went to the cooperative. As my car started to cut off fuel, I thought it was because I had just finished refueling, that it was water in the fuel. I even chose to go to the interchange. Then I stopped in front of the gate at the entrance that goes to Telêmaco Borba, I opened the hood and saw that the hose had a problem. After I fixed it, I returned to Tibagi through the same place”,

Security guard tries to incriminate Isis and reveals threats from the young woman: “She wanted an abortion”

Security guard Marcos Wagner de Souza, the main suspect in the disappearance of young Ísis Victória Miserski, said in a statement last Thursday (14) that the teenager did not want to be pregnant, contradicting the version of the Civil Police in the investigation that it was he who did not I wanted to have the child.

The suspect participated in the interrogation in a room at the Ponta Grossa Public Prison, in Campos Gerais do Paraná, where he is being held and is facing charges. The guard only answered questions asked by the defense lawyers themselves.

During interrogation, Marcos stated that he met Isis during a party and that he met her only once, when he was separated from his wife.
