Slovak actress and former dance floor queen Jana Kovalčiková will also shine in this year’s 10th edition of the Let’s Dance show. Together with colleague Anna Jakab Rakovska, they danced in the marquee program and now they will host it together. How she perceives it, Kovalčiková told in an interview for .
He will moderate the new series in the spring and after what the current moderator Viktor Vincze, who heads the news departments on television, has finished. He should have been given a choice from the management – Let’s Dance or Televízne noviny. His wife Adela Vinczeová did not agree with the move, so she refused to participate in the competition’s jury again.
“I am a person who extremely likes to try new things. Even those that I might say to myself in the future that I don’t like. But it’s great to try. I am a person who largely learns through my own experiences. I might enjoy it, and maybe I’ll find that I’m at least a little good at it. And maybe not,” she said openly.
Kovalčiková, who accepted the offer to moderate Let’s Dance, also spoke about the situation on television and the reason why she did not follow the example of her colleagues.
“I’m currently at the stage where I stand by my performance in Let’s Dance because I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong. I think that the Let’s Dance show is one of the most important that we currently have in Slovakia. It offers space for nobility, cultivating society and interpreting messages through art. This is something that is very close to me,” she declared.
“This attitude of mine is that I want to do my job. Just as I want to do it in the Slovak National Theatre, despite the leadership we have. I still have no doubts about whether or not I would like to be in Marquis,” added the actress.
