The president (PT) said this Wednesday (8.jan.2025) to be a “democracy lover”and not a husband, since mistresses would be loved more than wives. Speech was during an event with 4 acts to remember the 2 years of the 8th of January.
Lula spoke about democracy in his speech. Said she’s a “very big thing” for those who love freedom, culture, education and equal rights. For these reasons, it would therefore be a “lover” of the political regime.
“Only in a democratic process can we achieve this. That’s why I’m a lover of democracy. I’m not even a husband, I’m a lover of democracy, because, most of the time, lovers are more in love with their mistress than with their women. And I am a lover of democracy because I know its value.”he declared.

In a ceremony with 4 acts at Palácio do Planalto and Praça dos Três Poderes, Lula re-presents 21 works of art, including paintings, sculptures and historical artifacts, restored after being vandalized 2 years ago.
