Slovak actors Maroš Kramár (65) and Zdena Studenková (70) they have known each other practically since childhood and later collaborated on many projects on television and in the theater. Most recently, they will meet in the popular series Dunaj, at your service. Kramár will be part of the new episodes and will be portrayed by the successful businessman Vladimír Ruttkay, who returns to Slovakia after years, reports .
“We have already played together many times. Zdenka has already played my lover, my wife, and even my mother in the theater. What will happen now remains to be seen,” said Kramár mysteriously and continued: “Zdenka and I have known each other, one could say, since childhood. I was 10 and he was 15 when we met. She studied photography with my uncle and used to come to our house. My grandfather (Ján Klimo, editor’s note) talked her into acting,” he added.
Although Studenková is one of the most famous actresses in Slovakia, she never wanted to be one. “The only thing I didn’t want was acting. I went to the art workshop for photography, and Mr. Klimo was there then. Since I was from a poor family and my classmate was his son Martin, I went to take photos with them. Uncle Jano told me for four years: ‘Zdena, come here, I’ll teach you Slovak and you’ll be an actress,’ because I spoke Bratislava, but I still refused,” Studenková spoke years ago at Katarína Korecká’s speech.
When she finished high school, she wanted to study art history and aesthetics, but there were two problems. The class opened every other year, and her father was imprisoned as a political prisoner, so it was impossible for her to apply to the philosophy faculty. She had no choice but to call Ján Klim that she wanted to go to acting. “I won’t repeat what I heard on the phone at my address, but he told me to come to them immediately and he started preparing me for the exams. Until then, I had been to the theater twice, and I didn’t like that either and I didn’t know anyone at the reception except for Kvietik,” she added.
