Two years after the , the (Federal Supreme Court) has already analyzed more than 800 cases against those accused of the invasion, and closed more than 500, determining alternative measures.

This is what the court report states with numbers involving all court actions on the subject. The document was prepared by the minister’s office, rapporteur of the cases.

According to the report, 2,172 were arrested in the act after , with 1,397 of them having their detention converted into preventive detention, and more than 1,600 complaints filed.

According to the document, 36.1% of defendants already convicted receive a sentence of 14 years in prison. Among the crimes of which they are accused are attempts to abolish the democratic rule of law, coup d’état, qualified damage, armed criminal association, deterioration of listed property, as well as incitement and criminal association.

Furthermore, 25% were sentenced to 16 years and six months in prison, and 14.5% were sentenced to 13 years and six months in prison. The shortest sentence ever given to defendants, according to the report, was three years, which only 0.9% of those tried received.

Furthermore, 879 decisions involving the merits of actions or appeals within the processes were taken by a collegial body, most of them in plenary. The discussions have mostly taken place in the virtual plenary, where ministers cast their votes in an electronic system, without there being a face-to-face debate with the parties.

Criticizes this format for analyzing actions, believing that it hinders the right to contradictory proceedings. For the Order, the prerogative to speak, give oral arguments and make contact between the legal profession and the judiciary is essential for judicial provision, especially in single instance cases.
