This is the Finns' trick to keep the house warm for €2 and without heaters

Winter has already set in in Europe a few weeks ago and if many Portuguese people have felt that it has been very cold in Portugal, imagine that in countries in the north of the European continent, such as Finland, temperatures can reach minus 30 degrees. That’s why the Finnish methods for keeping the house warm can be useful to apply to homes in Portugal as well.

There’s one trick in particular that doesn’t involve heaters and only requires a two-dollar investment. As RFM says, the solution to keeping your house warm just involves buying those bubble wraps that many have the habit of bursting.

The first step is to cut the bubble wrap into pieces that completely cover the windows of your home. Afterwards, you will have to spray the window panes with water, but on the part facing inwards. The objective is to create a thin layer of humidity. Finally, simply apply the plastic with the smooth side against the glass and press it until it is well fixed.

It also explains that the secret to this trick lies in the air contained within the plastic bubbles, as a barrier is created that prevents cold from entering and heat from escaping. Once you apply the method, you will see how warm your home will remain throughout the winter.

If the plastic comes off by accident, simply repeat the entire process with a new layer.
