Palmeiras midfielder Zé Rafael could reinforce a rival this season. Santos is interested in the player, presented a proposal and the black and white board is optimistic that they will have the number 8.
According to the website “ge”, Zé Rafael should respond by the weekend. Last season, the athlete lost space in Abel Ferreira’s team, which opted for Richard Ríos and Aníbal Moreno as starters.
The Santos board sees the midfielder as an alternative to the departure of Giuliano, who asked to leave Vila Belmiro. At Peixe, Zé can regain his leading role, but the proposal is still evaluated by him and his staff.

At Palmeiras since 2019, Zé Rafael had the season with the fewest goals and assists with the alviverde shirt.
The midfielder participated in 37 of Palmeiras’ 67 games this year, with four assists and without finding the net. The last time he entered the field was on November 23, 2024, against Atlético Goianiense, for the Brasileirão.
Last season, Zé was absent from the team on two occasions: the first due to a back injury, in April, and the second to his thigh, for 15 days, in July.
