Most of us keep baking paper in the kitchen, but it can also be used elsewhere. Why shouldn’t we despise it even in the bathroom? It has a simple explanation, you may wonder yourself.
While in the kitchen we use baking paper for its basic purpose – that is, of course, to line dishes when baking, in the bathroom we can give it a completely different task. It’s a bit unconventional, but you can handle it perfectly. Just scrunch it up a bit and get to work.

No big charms
There is nothing incomprehensible or magical about the function of baking paper in the bathroom, but you will certainly be satisfied with its effect. It is a great helper in the fight against water stains or limescale. Using this unusual bathroom accessory is very simple and does not take too much time.
Wipe wet surfaces with paper
How to do it? It will be completely sufficient if you tear off a piece of this paper and wipe the glass with it after each use of the shower enclosure. You can also use it on water taps and especially the shower head, it works just as well there. Thanks to light circular movements, you will remove the remains of water and soap, and in addition, a thin film will settle on the surface of the treated objects, which will repel water. This trick is great for preventing limescale build-up.
Also polish the mirror
Although so far we have mainly talked about the shower, baking paper has a much wider field of application in the bathroom. Sinks, wall tiles, but also mirrors – all of this will shine clean thanks to it. The mirror will not fog up, an unsightly matte deposit will not form on the taps. Definitely worth a try.
Without a drop of chemistry
A big bonus to easy cleaning for a few crowns is also the fact that we don’t have to use even a drop of any chemical product. Nowadays, this is appreciated not only by sworn environmentalists, but also by all reasonable people who care about the preservation of nature for future generations.
In this case, we leave only the waxed surface of the paper to work, which will not only do its job well at the moment of the surface treatment itself, but will also act in the future as a prevention of unpleasant situations when you enter the bathroom and are horrified by the trigger.
Use it elsewhere
Baking paper is generally more versatile than its name suggests, which is what we usually follow. It is able to clean the zipper quite well, which rubs when it is fastened. Just wipe it with this paper a few times and the problem is gone.
We can also use it, for example, to separate individual slices of meat before putting them together in a bag in the freezer. We can be sure that if we only need part of the cleaned raw material, there is no need to thaw the whole lump, but we can easily take just a single slice. How do you use baking paper?
