Beňová tackled Gröhling and Šimeček, but the Ukrainian president caught it the most: Zelensky’s harsh load!

Member of the European Parliament Monika Beňová (SMER) (56) is active not only on the political scene, but also on social networks, where she publishes images from her private life, but also publicly comments on current topics that move Slovakia. That was also the case this time, when after the holidays she decided to express her opinion again. At the beginning, she tackled the chairman of the SaS party Branislav Gröhling (50) and the chairman of the PS party Michal Šimečka (40), who criticize Prime Minister Robert Fico (60).

“Incredible lightness of emptiness, even so, I could easily mark the other (and not only the other) attitudes and opinions of the immature chairman of Progressive Slovakia. And the same share of the politically untalented and superficial chairman of SaS B. Gröhling. Michal Šimečka Jr., who has never encountered the reality of ordinary life and his views were influenced unilaterally without the opportunity for confrontation, issues one more hateful and empty status and statement after another and in all of them attacks the Prime Minister and the most experienced European leader, Robert Fico“, she wrote critical words.

He stands behind the decisions of the Slovak prime minister. “While Robert Fico is making important decisions and measures, M. Šimečka is looking for adolescent scratches in an attempt to keep the presidential chair in the PS and the attention of the electorate in the square in Bratislava,” Monika continued and added that she does so with the generous help of his father, with whom they examine in detail the destinations of Robert Fico’s stay during his free time.

Slovaks were surprised by the news when, the day before Christmas, Robert Fico met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and later the information became public that the Prime Minister was in a luxury hotel in Vietnam. Beňová also decided to comment on these facts. “It’s after the holidays, so allow me some facts. R. Fico’s visit to V. Putin was pre-planned and had its justification in a situation where even more sane EU leaders see that the marasmus in Ukraine must be ended. Especially because of Ukrainians who no longer want to die for a president in a sweater and camouflage traveling the world and appearing on talk shows,” she expressed her opinion.

“Our liberal media, Šimeček, Gröhling et al. certainly did not miss the fact that none of the EU leaders criticized R. Fico’s meeting with V. Putin (in contrast to Orbán’s), no one commented negatively on it and the president of the EU Council, A. Costa, whom I have known by the way for more than 20 years, confirmed that Robert Fico informed him about it in advance. So it is more than likely that the selected political leaders had and have sufficient information. And I’ll just add that Robert Fico does not have the obligation to submit “accounts” of PS or SaS, where no one knows anything about real politics in today’s world and only rages that they are put aside somewhere and no one is interested anymore“, she did not stop with critical words about opposition politicians.

She also took a dig at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. “The fact that the President of Ukraine canceled the planned meeting in Brussels regarding gas supplies to Slovakia it tells about his own sullenness but also his impotence. On Thursday, Robert Fico will fight for the energy interests of Slovakia and Europe, despite Zelenský’s arrogance. Because he is not a small child, nor a cold teenager, nor a former actor. He knows exactly what his responsibility is,” she took Fico’s side.

In recent weeks, Slovaks were also moved by the information about the new anthem, which conductor Oskar Rózsa was working on and which was not a great success in society. “And a final note, all those dances around the anthem, the SND or A. Netrebko’s performance, are exactly what the Slovak opposition is for. Real politics and big issues far exceed the capabilities of progressives and liberals.” she continued.

“I would also like to add that the acting chancellor Scholz announced a phone call with Putin, President Macron spoke with his ambassadors about the fact that Ukraine will have to accept territorial losses (I, for example, do not agree with this at all), and everyone in unison (at the same time, ed. ) are waiting for the inauguration of D. Trump and are praying that he will somehow come to an agreement with that Putin. It’s not fair, but it’s a political reality my friends. A reality that R. Fico saw already in 2022 and to which we had to “work our way” through hundreds of thousands of victims, a destroyed country and the near economic collapse of the EU. A reality that the Slovak opposition is not aware of“, she added at the end.
