The Kings World Cup Nations 2025, the society football World Cup, has entered its decisive phase, which runs until January 12th. This is the first time that the event has an edition with selections, hosted in Milan and Turin. National teams from 16 countries, including Brazil, face each other in matches with unusual rules to entertain the public. Football influencers and legends such as Neymar, Kaká, Ibrahimovic, Casillas and Buffon are some of the stars involved in the tournament.

What is the Kings World Cup Nations 2025 and how does it work?
The Kings World Cup Nations 2025 is a global society football tournament, also known as 7-a-side football. It is organized by the Kings League, created by former Spanish defender Gerard Piqué and Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos. Unlike the 2024 edition, which involved clubs, this year’s competition brings together national teams made up of players from different versions of the Kings League.
Similar to the FIFA World Cup, the tournament has 16 national teams facing each other since January 1st. Each team has as its main player a former athlete or influencer from the esports scene.
What are the rules for the Kings World Cup Nations 2025?
In the World Cup Nations 2025, the games have different rules than usual. The matches have two halves of 20 minutes each and start with just one outfield player and the goalkeeper on each team. New players enter the court every minute until seven athletes are on the field for each team.
Another difference is that coaches can use “secret weapons”, which include goals that are worth double, penalties and “shootouts”. In the final stretch (between 38 and 40 minutes), all goals are worth two points, unless the score is tied. In this case, the “golden goal” applies, where the team that scores first wins.

Brazil at the Kings League World Cup Nations 2025: meet the players
Brazil is one of the favorites for the title and has great stars in its team. Voted best 7-a-side football player and world champion in 2021, Kelvin Oliveira is the highlight of the Brazilian team.
In addition to him, Andreas Vaz and Lipão Pinheiro have also taken Brazil to the top of the sport. While Vaz was nominated for the Corona de Oro award, Lipão competed for the best goal award at the same award.

When will Brazil play in the Kings World Cup Nations 2025?
The 2025 World Cup Nations reached the knockout stage after a series of rounds played in the Swiss format, where each match was decisive. The eight best teams advanced to the playoffs, and Brazil faces Turkey this Thursday (9), at 2 pm (Brasília time), in the quarterfinals, after beating South Korea and Germany.
The big decision is scheduled for Sunday, January 12, at the Allianz Arena, in Turin, home of Juventus. The final is worth a prize of US$1 million (more than R$6 million in direct conversion) and the tournament cup. The event will also feature a musical performance by Italian singer Mahmood and a festive game between streamers and football legends.

The 2025 World Cup Nations is being broadcast on Twitch via the official Kings League channel, in addition to Gaules’ channel. The streamer, who is president of the Brazilian team in the tournament, even scored a penalty in the victory against South Korea. He will also broadcast the games on YouTube.
