Captain Ivanise Pontes leaves command of the 8th PMAC Battalion: “Duty accomplished”

After years at the head of the 8th Military Police Battalion, in Sena Madureira, Captain Ivanise Pontes announced, this week, her departure from command, marking the end of a cycle full of achievements. Recognized for her work dedicated to strengthening public safety and promoting community actions, the officer leaves a legacy of commitment and leadership in favor of the municipality.

In her farewell message, the captain expressed gratitude for all the years of partnership and friendship built during her tenure. “I move on to a much greater mission, with a heart full of gratitude for the help I received. Thank you very much for walking hand in hand with community work in our municipality”, he declared.

In addition to ensuring safety, Ivanise was a great supporter of social causes, actively working to bring the community closer to the institution. Their initiatives strengthened bonds between residents and security agents, creating a relationship of mutual trust.

When saying goodbye, Captain Ivanise reinforced the feeling of duty accomplished and made a point of thanking the team and the population. “I continue with my head held high, with the feeling of duty accomplished. To everyone, my best salute”, he concluded.

From now on, the 8th Battalion will be led by captain Fábio Diniz.
