Grupo Quadri issued a statement and lamented the death of driver Gilmar Tormem, victim of an accident on BR-476, in Paulo Frontim, in the southern region of Paraná. The truck driver was driving a vehicle loaded with cement, heading towards São Mateus do Sul. At km 322, on Wednesday night (8), there was a head-on collision with a tanker trailer.
The collision resulted in the death of both drivers. On social media, Grupo Quadri mourned the death of its employee.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved collaborator Gilmar Tormem, popular Gima. Your contribution, dedication and team spirit will be forever remembered. We will never forget his joy and the great person he was”, published the company.
Gilmar was 46 years old, was born in Leônidas Marques and lived in Cascavel, in the west of Paraná. The truck driver leaves behind a wife and family. The 16th Church of the Foursquare Gospel of Cascavel mourned the death of the believer. “With immense regret we announce the death of our brother Gilmar Tormem. May God console family and friends. I fought the good fight, finished my career and kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7.”
In the other truck, the driver was a woman. The identity of the victim has not yet been confirmed by authorities.
