St. Johann in Tirol – An eleven-year-old German student was seriously injured in a skiing accident in St. Johann in Tirol (Kitzbühel district) on Wednesday. As the Tyrol State Police Department reported, he crashed into the wall of the valley station in the St. Johanner Bergbahnen ski area. He was flown by emergency helicopter to the St. Johann in Tirol district hospital. The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. as part of a school ski course at a high school in Bavaria.
