In the Caraguava neighborhood, 17 people were isolated due to flooding, but were successfully rescued by the Fire Department. Other neighborhoods, such as Vila Erminda and Araminguava, also faced similar problems, leading to the homeless being taken to a temporary shelter in Vila Romar.
In Ubatuba, the situation is no different. The city’s Civil Defense reported heavy rain accompanied by gusts of wind, resulting in the Angelin and Ubatumirim rivers overflowing.
