“It hurts to see dreams destroyed”, says mother-in-law of young woman who died on the eve of her wedding

The death of Amanda Cristina dos Santos, an 18-year-old victim of a tractor-trailer on the eve of her wedding, moved residents of Rolândia, in the north of Paraná. The girl died on Wednesday (8), after suffering an accident on Avenida Getúlio Vargas, in the urban section of BR-369.

On social media, Amanda’s fiancé paid a final tribute to the young woman. “I will love you forever my bride,” says the post, which has a photo of the couple. According to information from family members, the two had recently bought a house and were getting married this Thursday. Amanda’s body was buried in the Rolândia Central Cemetery.

Furthermore, friends of the couple also paid tribute to the young woman with emotional farewell messages. “Amanda will be the brightest star in the sky, just as she already shone for us here on earth,” said a friend.

Amanda’s fiancé’s mother also paid tribute to her daughter-in-law. She took the opportunity to thank her for the moments she spent with her son and said she will help him live without the young woman.

“It hurts to see dreams destroyed in such a tragic way. I want to thank you for everything you did for my son. May God welcome you with open arms. Take care of him and we will help him so he can learn to live without you”, wrote the victim’s mother-in-law.

Young man was run over after a collision between motorcycles

Amanda had an accident late Wednesday morning. She was riding a motorcycle that collided with the back of another, near an intersection. As a result of the crash, the young woman fell onto the road and was then run over by a trailer that was coming close behind.

Hit in the head, Amanda was then rescued by teams from Samu and Samu. However, despite the quick rescue, the young woman died in the ambulance, on the way to Londrina University Hospital.

“The police team was called to respond to an accident and found firefighters and Samu providing first care to the victim. According to the report of one of the drivers, while waiting for the vehicle in front of him to turn, he was hit by another motorcycle, in the rear, with the driver falling. Then, due to the severity of the injuries, the victim was taken to the hospital and the Federal Highway Police was called to continue the incident. Later, the Samu team reported that the victim had passed away”, says soldier Francielli, from the Paraná Military Police, who responded to the incident.
