It was in Tapada das Mercês, in Sintra, that a 12-year-old girl experienced moments of terror in her own home, where she was raped by a man who pretended to be a neighbor.
The Judiciary Police are already investigating the crime that happened this Tuesday, January 7th, when the girl arrived home, coming from school for lunch.
The 12 year old child went home alonewalking about 500 meters from the school, and was allegedly followed by “a man who chased her and pretended to be a neighbor to enter the residence”, reports the (CM).
Upon arriving at the door of the building where the apartment where she lives is located, the young woman let the man in, believing he was a neighbor. This ended up breaking into your housewhere he violated her.
“The alleged attacker went through the entire house to confirm if anyone else was” inside, the minor also reported to the PJ, as described by the CM.
After confirming that no one was there, he raped the girl.
The child’s mother arrived home around 8 pm and noticed that her daughter was not well. Also found “a condom wrapper” and ended up confronting his daughter who told him what happened, the CM also reports.
The suspect will be between 20 and 30 years old and has not yet been identified.
