In his press conference to present Fluminense this Thursday (9), Paulo Baya, Tricolor’s new striker, drew attention with an interesting and far from modest statement, comparing his game to that of two famous players.
“Today the players I see with my characteristics are Mbappé and Rafael Leão, fast, with a long stride and Mbappé especially who has a good finish”, he stated. In addition to the two, he cited Cristiano Ronaldo as a great inspiration for his career.

Loaned from Primavera-SP to Goiás last year, Paulo had a season with 19 goals, satisfying the fans. However, this year, Goiás decided to make another loan to Fluminense.
Since then, he has been training with the first group introduced to the Rio tricolor, which began activities on January 2nd. This will be part of the team that competed in the first rounds of the Campeonato Carioca, debuting this Sunday (12) against Sampaio Corrêa.
