Meghan Markle (43) mourns the death of her dog Guy. Na showed a video of her beloved beagle, which is full of previously unpublished family photos. The Duchess of Sussex adopted a dog from a rescue station in Canada. where they gave him only a few days to live.
“I married him and fell in love. They referred to him as ‘the little boy’ because he was so small and fragile, so I named him ‘Guy’. And he was the best boy a girl could wish for,” she wrote on the social network.
The beagle was with Meghan during all the big steps in her life – during the filming of Kravaťáky, engagements and when she became a mother. “Shortly before I moved to the UK, he had a terrible accident which left him undergoing operations for several months and unable to leave the clinic. The doctors said she would never walk again, but Dr Noel Fitzpatrick said she would make it,” she added.
“Since many of you will now see Guy in my new series, I hope so you will understand why I am so devastated by his loss. I think you might even love him a little. I cried too many tears to count. The kind of tears that make you climb into the shower hoping that the running water on your face will somehow help you not feel them or pretend they aren’t there. But they are. And that’s okay too. Thank you for the years of unconditional love, my sweet guy,” Meghan finished.
