A stunning video has gone viral on social media, showing two men and a dog trapped in a house surrounded by fire in Pacific Palisades, an upscale area of Los Angeles.
The images, shared on the social network X by Kevin Dalton, show moments of great tension, with the flames getting dangerously close to the windows of the house. In the video, one of the men tries to calm the dog, saying: “It’s going to be okay.” When the other suggests opening a window, the response is heard: “Don’t open anything.”
Fortunately, Dalton confirmed that the two men and the dog were able to escape safely.
The forest fires raging in California have already forced around 100,000 people to flee their homes since last Tuesday.
