Bahia officially announced two new reinforcements for the 2025 season: striker Erick Pulga, a standout in Ceará, was confirmed on Wednesday night (8). This Thursday morning (9), it was the turn of midfielder Michel Araújo, ex-São Paulo.
Uruguayan Michel Araújo signed until the end of 2028. Revealed at Racing, from Uruguay, he has experience with Brazilian football. At São Paulo, he won the 2023 Brazilian Cup and the 2024 Super Cup. He also played for Fluminense, from 2020 to 2023. Before that, he was in the United Arab Emirates with Wasl.
Erick da Costa Farias, 24 years old, known as Erick Pulga, was the top scorer in Série B with Ceará, scoring 13 times. In total, during the year, there were 51 matches with 22 goals. He already played for Ferroviário, in 2023, when he scored twice against Bahia in the Copa do Nordeste. The athlete also had spells at Campinense, Maracanã-CE, River-PI and Atlético Cearense.
The two players are already training at CT Evaristo de Macedo and are expected to participate in the team’s pre-season in Girona, Spain.
In terms of new reinforcements, the Squadron had already announced midfielder Erick, a former Athletico-PR player.
