A worker aged approximately 22 years, an employee of an outsourced company hired by the Department of Highways of Acre (DERACRE), suffered a sudden illness and died in the early evening of this Wednesday (8), in Ramal da Limeira, municipality of Senator Guiomard, in the interior of Acre.
According to information from co-workers, the victim had been employed at the company for only three weeks. While carrying out maintenance on a bridge on the branch, accompanied by other day laborers, he began to feel ill, screamed and fell unconscious.
Those responsible for the work quickly placed the young man in the body of a black Chevrolet Montana vehicle with license plate NDF-4633, and headed towards the Rio Branco Emergency Room. During the journey, the Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU) was called, and an advanced support ambulance intercepted the vehicle near a gas station in front of Corrente. However, when the medical team arrived, they were only able to confirm the worker’s death.
Military Police from the 2nd Battalion were at the scene and isolated the area for the work of the Criminal Expert, who initially found that there were no signs of violence on the man’s body.
The body was removed and sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) for cadaveric examinations and formal identification. The cause of death will be determined after the expert report is issued, which must be completed within 30 days.
