Lawyer Lunara Nogueira, 30 years old, was almost harmed in the last Acre Criminal Police competition due to an incorrect result in a toxicological test, which indicated that she had used cocaine – which was denied in the countertest.
After the first result – which left Lunara impressed and afraid of being harmed –, the company responsible for the procedure had to redo the exam (which is part of one of the stages of the competition). The control test was negative for the use of illicit substances.
“I was scared when I saw the result because I never used any type of illicit substance, including cocaine. In addition to the scare, I was afraid of being disadvantaged in the contest due to a wrong result. I asked to retake the test and, in less than seven days, I got the result of the countertest, which was negative for the use of illicit substances”, he told the report. ContilNet.
Nogueira preferred not to reveal the name of the laboratory to avoid problems. However, it went to court, which ordered the company to pay R$5,000 in moral damages to Acre.
“This directly affected my image and reputation. That’s why I went to court to guarantee my rights”, highlighted the young woman.
Despite the situation, Lunara was not harmed in the other stages of the competition because she managed to present the countertest in time.
The court’s decision was approved this Wednesday (8) and should appear in the Official Gazette of the Court of Justice of Acre (TJAC) in the next few days.
