Early on, as , Musk asked Weidel to talk about the media’s image of the AfD as “somehow associated with Nazism or something.”
The party leader wanted to separate herself from Germany’s dark history. Therefore, he decided to respond that Hitler “was a communist and considered himself a socialist”.

I was reading Schopenhauer,” he said, “which is a little depressing if you read it as a kid.”
