Valter Pomar, leader of the one participating in Caracas, characterized the opposition leader to the dictator as “fake news”.

“It was spread by itself to divert attention from the failure of the far-right mobilization,” Pomar told the column.

The leader must also participate in Maduro’s inauguration, scheduled to take place this Friday (10).

According to Pomar, Venezuelan deputy Roy Daza, present at the São Paulo Forum event, said that the march led by Corina occupied a block of an avenue.

“And, coincidentally, the story of her arrest appeared. So, the ‘news’ was the supposed arrest and not the failure. Then, shortly afterwards she appears in a video saying that she is free and well. Given the overall situation, we are sure that that it was fake news planted by the extreme right”, he declared.

This Thursday (9), Corina’s allies said that she was “violently intercepted” and hours later released by the dictatorship after participating in protests in the capital.

A key figure in the Venezuelan regime, Attorney General Tarek William Saab denied Sheet the opposing statements and stated that she was not detained, “not for a minute”.

The opposition and the regime called for acts across the country that increased the climate of tension in a week in which the Chavista dictatorship began. María Corina broke more than a hundred days of hiding, taking refuge in an unknown location, and took to the streets.

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Maduro’s party, is one of the most influential members of the Forum, alongside the PT, the Sandinista National Liberation Front of Nicaragua and the Communist Party of Cuba.

Despite the government’s criticism of Maduro, the PT’s support for the Venezuelan regime remains intact.
