This Thursday, January 9th, another ‘Passadeira Vermelha’ aired, a SIC Caras program conducted by Liliana Campos on SIC Caras.
Yesterday’s broadcast was attended by commentators Sara Norte, Catarina Miranda and Nuno Azinheira, who were present to comment on current topics.
At a certain point, and when they were analyzing Nininho Vaz Maia’s interview on the program ‘Alta Definição, Sara Norte ‘opened her heart’.
After listening to the part of the conversation in which the singer recalls the visits he made to his father who was in prison, the commentator recalled the period when he was also in prison and received visits from family members.
“This really affected me, maybe because… Nininho went to visit his father in prison, I was visited by my mother in prison. But actually, it affected me because I remember…”he began saying, with a choked voice.
Even before remembering the impactful visits from her parents, Sara Norte revealed that, like Nininho Vaz Maia, she also asked God for her mother to “cure herself”, as she was drug addicted: “Years later, I fell into drugs and was arrested.”realized.
With tears in her eyes, the commentator then opened up about what she experienced during the period she was imprisoned and that this difficult phase also affected her family.
“I remember that the last visit I had was from my mother on my birthday… When someone is arrested, it’s not just that person who is arrested, it affects your entire family and the person inside He always tries to seem like everything is fine, but those who visit need to have a lot of strength (…). I remember that, during the visit, I had to be very well because I couldn’t show my father and mother what was going on, but then when you see the person’s little hand in the distance and people leave…”he remembered.
After highlighting that her mother suffered a lot during her stay in prison, Sara Norte left a heartfelt reflection: “Prison ends up being something that changes people, either for the better or for the better, and that can only have made Nininho a better person, I believe so. (…) I believe that love heals everything and this moved me very much, sorry”she said, washed in tears.
Very nervous when talking about the topic, the actress also left an outburst about the inmates: “Give second chances to people who go to prison and people take advantage of them! And don’t put them aside, that’s all!”.
