It’s time to modernize, also in the Armed Forces. The call Generation Z, the centennialscitizens born between 1997 and 2010, now have to also join the national defense. It already happens in Polanda country where recruitment conditions have been announced as of February 2025.

The regulations of the Minister of National Defense (MON) establish that the military qualification will begin on February 3 and will end on April 30, 2025.
The committee must be present men born in 2006; los men born between 2001 and 2005 who do not have a specific fitness category for active military service; and the women born between 1998 and 2006 who had qualifications suitable for military service and who had not yet qualified for such qualifications.
Military qualification this year will be based on similar principles to those of previous years, but taking into account new regulations and changes in organization and requirements. During qualifications, candidates undergo medical examinations, health evaluations and determination of suitability for military service. The objective is assign appropriate health categories and determine whether a person can serve in the military and in what type of training. Persons deemed fit to serve may be recruited into the army if they need to carry out national defense tasks.
In 2025, it is expected that different groups will be called to active military service. In professional military service, up to 16,000 people are expected to joinwho can be called to active military service as a professional soldier. In the case of military exercises, the figure can reach 200,000 reserve soldiersincluding training courses for non-commissioned officers and reserve officers who occupy or are to be appointed to official positions in war structures requiring military qualifications higher than those they currently possess, as well as persons transferred to the reserve who are not reserve soldiers.
Furthermore, it is expected that the limit will be allocated to execution of a program (“Academic Legion”) aimed at volunteer students interested in military training carried out on the basis of military education in cooperation with civilian universities.
In the case of the active reserve, there can be up to 30,000 soldiers who serve, with an indefinite appointment, for an average of 88 days a year during non-working time and for 14 days in a row, as well as on other days, according to the needs of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, after agreement with an RA soldier or at his request, and on the days in which he was summoned to appear immediately;
And then there is the voluntary compulsory military service: it is expected to reach up to 39,700 peopleincluding up to 4,700 persons in the course of education who have not yet performed active military service and persons transferred to the reserve who are not reserve soldiers (persons with military qualifications): volunteers regardless of their qualifications and education, if they are at least eighteen years of age; people who have completed their military service obligation in another country; people who permanently reside abroad have returned to the country and are registering their permanent residence;
The so-called territorial military service is added, with up to 44,000 soldiers reserve and people who have a regulated relationship with military service.
