The most ideal candidate for the Speaker of the Parliament would be the leader of Hlasu-SD and Minister of the Interior Matúš Šutaj Eštok. Ján Ferenčák (Voice-SD) member of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic thinks so. He has not yet commented on whether he will support Richard Raši, who is supposed to be a candidate, for the post.
“I’ve been saying this for several months, for me the most ideal candidate is party chairman Matúš Šutaj Eštok. Not only because of his personal weight, but Peter Pellegrini also had such a role before,” he said.
At the same time, Ferenčák said that he too other deputies around Samuel Migaľ remain in the Hlasu parliamentary club. He denied that they functioned as a platform. “We are the Hlas club. We are united. The fact that there are differences of opinion has been known for a long time, and nothing is ruled out in the future.” he noted. At the same time, he admitted reservations to the head of the parliamentary club, Róbert Puci, and to the leadership of the club.
