Senate hearing for Trump Treasury nominee set for January 16

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Senate Finance Committee said on Friday it will hold a hearing on Jan. 16 with Scott Bessent, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the Treasury Department.
