There is no better snack for a party. You can make it quickly and your guests will eat every last crumb

Are you planning a party and have no idea for snacks? We have a recipe that will work every time. This dish is so universal that almost everyone likes it.

Delicious pancake rolls with ham and cheese You can make them very quickly – they will disappear from your plates just as quickly. Your guests will surely eat them to the last crumb.

To make this recipe you need:

Pancakes:

  • 130 g of wheat flour,
  • 1 egg,
  • 250 ml of milk,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar,
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter.

Filling:

  • 100 ml tomato passata,
  • ½ teaspoon of basil,
  • ½ teaspoon of granulated garlic,
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt,
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper,
  • 50 g of good quality ham, sliced,
  • 150 g sera mozzarella.

Start by preparing the pancakes.

In a bowl, beat the egg in the milk. Add flour and sugar. Mix everything well until smooth. Pour in the cool, melted butter. Mix again.

Heat a dry frying pan. Apply a spoonful of the mass, spreading it over the entire surface. Fry the pancake until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes on each side. Fry the pancakes until the mixture is finished.

Prepare the filling.

Place each pancake in front of you and spread 1 tablespoon of tomato passata on it. Sprinkle a little of all the spices evenly. Place 1-2 slices of ham on the sauce, placing them closer to one of the edges. Sprinkle the top evenly with grated mozzarella.

Roll the pancake into a log and place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper, seam side down. Repeat the procedure for the remaining pancakes.

Bake the rolls.

Place the pancakes in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius. Bake them for 5 minutes, just until the cheese melts.

Take out the pancakes and cut them into strips about 3 cm thick. Place the rolls horizontally on a baking tray with baking paper. Put the whole thing back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes, until nicely browned.

Serve pancake rolls with ham and cheese warm, immediately after preparation.
