Veterinarian João Vitor Santos Toesca, 38, died in an accident while returning from a trip with his parents. The accident happened on PR-444, in Mandaguari, in the North Central of Paraná, on the morning of this Thursday (9).

Toesca was driving a Chevrolet S10 pickup truck when he crashed into the back of a truck. The car was partially underneath the truck. The veterinarian’s parents were taken to the hospital, while João died at the scene of the accident.
The three were returning from an international trip and heading towards Umuarama. The family was trapped in the wreckage and the veterinarian’s father needed to be intubated while he was still trapped in the wreckage. João’s mother was taken to Bom Samaritano Hospital, in Maringá.
