The season has definitely started for Vitória. The red-and-black team debuts in the Campeonato Baiano this Saturday (11), when they host Barcelona de Ilhéus, at Barradão. The clash, valid for the first round of the Bahia Championship, starts at 4pm.
Coach Thiago Carpini will need to assemble the starting team with the players who returned last Friday (3), such as strikers Osvaldo and Mosquito, as well as defender Edu and midfielder Ricardo Ryller. Five of the new signings will also be able to make their debut in the match.
On the other hand, those who returned to training this Wednesday (8) will not yet take the field. The coach will not be able to count on defenders Neris and Wagner Leonardo, midfielder Matheuzinho and other starters.
