Directors will have until January 12th to complete the document; the objective is “to assist in reflecting on the current situation of the school”
The (Ministry of Education) extended the deadline for principals to complete the School Diagnosis document until January 12, 2025. To participate, you must access the (Direct Money at School Program) platform and send the information.
In a note, the organization highlighted that the tool is available “in order to support school management and assist in reflecting on the current situation of the school, contributing to the planning process”.
The document to be completed was organized into 11 blocks and 26 themes which, according to the MEC, allow for the identification of gaps, “fundamental to support the manager in decision making”.
“The School Diagnosis is carried out based on conceptual views of the school’s reality that direct the attention to relevant aspects of the institution’s functioning. The data will also be used by the MEC to make more assertive decisions in the development of actions and policies.”
Training
In December, through a webinar, the ministry presented a step-by-step guide on how to complete the diagnosis, “in order to avoid errors and guarantee the best result for school financing”.
