Registration is now open for the 6th Education Journalism Notice, held by . The prizes are R$3,000 (1st place), R$2,000 (2nd place) and R$1,000 for 3rd place.
Held in partnership with , the award recognizes course completion works (TCCs) that have journalism as central themes.
The notice is aimed at recently graduated university students who presented work on the topic in the years 2024, 2023 and 2022. TCCs will be accepted in different formats such as report books, radio programs, documentaries or monographs. You can register until January 31st.
The work may have been carried out individually, in pairs or in groups. In this case, the work registration must be done by a representative, and the prize value is the same.
The evaluation criteria will be originality, quality and social relevance. The judging panel is made up of journalists Denise Chiarato, Eduardo Geraque, Marta Avancini, Ricardo Falzetta and Rodrigo Ratier.
For Ratier, journalism professor and part of the judging panel, Jeduca has helped to qualify coverage on education with initiatives that help to highlight the possibilities of the topic to media outlets.
“There is a provocation towards a plurality of perspectives that go beyond traditional approaches and sources heard. It is about considering education in a broad context, addressing its complexity”, he points out.
