The will accredit 15,000 independent vendors to work during the street block parades at Rio’s Carnival 2025. That’s 5,000 more than in 2024.
The company opened the 1st stage of accreditation on Monday (6 January 2025). Registration must be made via the website by January 21st. The draw will be the following day. The result will be announced via SMS. The block schedule starts on February 1st.
Interested parties must be Brazilians over 18 years old, have an identity card, CPF and proof of residence in the city of Rio.
The selected sellers must attend the location to be announced, to prove the requirements required by regulation, in addition to receiving more information about the other procedures (collection of the kit – vest, styrofoam and credential).
Those approved will also receive training until they are able to legally work on the street blocks. The sales permit period runs from February 1st to March 9th.
