Cappelli requires the use of its own messaging app at ABDI – 01/12/2025 – Panel

The president of , signs this Monday (13) an ordinance making ABDI mandatory for employees of the body.

The app is called UNA and has technology similar to the messaging app already used in the Army. The idea is to prevent leaks of information and data from the agency.

The tender for purchase was made in the second half of last year, but the initiative to adopt its own application gained strength with , of , which controls .

Before taking over ABDI, Cappelli was after the January 8 attacks and served as executive secretary of the Ministry of Justice before moving to the (Supreme Federal Court).

On a social network, the president of ABDI commented on the change in Meta’s policy. “Why do China and Russia block US social networks? Why did the post-Brexit European Union and the rise of the far right on the continent establish harsh rules that are being kicked by Zuckerberg? Networks are communication. And communication is power,” he wrote.

“Only the naive, uninformed or ill-intentioned believe in the utopia of network neutrality. Censorship? No, a matter of sovereignty.”
