Will Juninho play for Flamengo?
Flamengo is looking for reinforcements in the market, and one of the sectors that needs more attention is the attack, especially after Gabigol’s departure. The Rio team reached an agreement with Juninho, from Qarabag.
Rubro-Negro sent a proposal worth R$31 million. Flamengo’s proposal is more financially advantageous than Sevilla’s, according to Spanish journalist Ramírez Máximo.
According to an update from Spanish journalist Gonzalo Tortosa, Flamengo offered a salary three times higher for the 28-year-old striker and negotiated the striker with Sevilla. The transfer should close in the next few days.
This Sunday (12/01), Rubro-Negro received confirmation from the Azerbaijani club. The attacker should arrive on Monday (13/01) to undergo medical examinations and sign the contract.
