The new presenter pair will be actresses Anna Jakab Rakovská and Jana Kovalčiková. They will replace Viktor Vincze and Lucia Hlaváčková. In an interview with Kovalčiková revealed why she accepted the offer from Markíza. The well-known presenter, who heads the news department on television, was given a choice whether to be in a dance show or in Televízne noviny.
Viktor’s decision led to a decisive step by his wife Adela Vinczeová. She trashed Marquise and will no longer be a juror. “I spoke with Adelka during the trial, when it was actually happening and they informed us that Viktor would no longer be a moderator, and when Adelka made the decision that she would no longer sit on the jury, that’s why we met,” she revealed, saying that she was interested in Vincze’s opinion because she holds her in the highest regard.
Kovalčiková considers Let’s Dance to be one of the most important shows we currently have in Slovakia. “I think it offers room for nobility, for cultivating society and for interpreting messages through art, and that’s something that’s very close to me,” she explained. Her only condition was that Jakab Rakovská also accepted the offer. According to her own words, she could not imagine it without her.
She admits that accepting the offer was difficult for her. “I think that any offer actors consider these days is more difficult than before. The decision was not easy,” added the actress. “I considered whether I would even be able to moderate such a show, because I am first and foremost an actress. Then came many questions related to the change of moderators. And is it nice to be a participant in this show for the 3rd year, whether it’s something that will seem monotonous in my career or that slightly discredits me in the eyes of the acting community,” she explained.
