Among the many stories of loss in the California fires, there is an actor who truly lived what he once lived in fiction. The report is from CBS, SIC’s partner television.
Actor Milo Ventimigalia, known for his roles in the series Gilmore Girls e This Is Us is one of hundreds of people who lost their homes in the devastating fires from Los Angeles, California. THE SIC’s partner television, accompanied the 47-year-old actor on a visit to the wreckage caused by the flames.
“It’s a heavy feeling. We start thinking about the memories in different parts of the house and then we see the neighbors’ houses and everything around them. We are completely devastated,” he says.
The actor and his wife, who is in final stretch of pregnancy, they were forced to abandon their home. It was through security cameras who saw the flames advance and destroy a lifetime of memories and souvenirs.
“There’s a kind of shock moment where we say, This is real, this is happening,” but at one point, we shut down. What’s the point of continuing to watch. We accept the loss.”
Such as Jack Pearsonthe character he played on the series This Is Us, Milo Ventimigalia also lost his home in a fire.
“We have good friends, good people who work with us. Here we manage. My wife, the baby and the dog are the most important thing.”
