Are you getting ready for a party and don’t know what to prepare this time? Do you feel like you’ve made all your tried-and-true salads too many times? Try to choose a combination of simple ingredients: potatoes, pickled cucumbers, onions and eggs, plus yellow cheese. Thanks to the layered arrangement, salad with yellow cheese looks great and tastes even better.
To make the salad you need:
- 6 medium potatoes,
- 3 pickled cucumbers,
- 2 red onions,
- 4 eggs,
- 100 g of yellow cheese,
- fresh parsley for decoration,
- 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise,
- salt and pepper to taste.
Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water. Set aside so they don’t get hot while cutting. Put the eggs into hard boiling, and when they are ready, peel them and leave them to cool.
Prepare a bowl for layering the salad.
Chop the potatoes finely or grate them. Place at the very bottom of the bowl. Spread with a spoonful of mayonnaise. Drain the pickled cucumbers, cut them into cubes and place them on top of the potatoes. Spread with mayonnaise again. Chop the onions finely and place in a bowl. As before, spread a tablespoon of mayonnaise.
Place finely diced eggs on top, sprinkle salt and pepper over the entire surface, and then spread the yellow cheese in thin slices. You can get them with a wide vegetable peeler or a special spatula with a cheese knife.
Decorate the salad with fresh parsley and place it in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
