Venice – Inter Milan clinched their sixth consecutive victory in the Italian football Serie A on Sunday. The defending champion defeated penultimate Venice 1-0 away thanks to a goal from Matteo Darmian (16th) and moved up in the table to within one point of leaders SSC Napoli, who are hosting Hellas Verona in the evening game, at least for a few hours. Marko Arnautovic came on in the 76th minute, while the hosts were missing the injured Michael Svoboda.
