The threats made by the American to take control of the Canal, in addition to the interest in annexing the Canal, are reminiscent of the Nazi dictator’s speech, says former senator Aloysio Nunes.
On Tuesday (7), Trump gave a speech in which he stated that he did not rule out the possible use of military force to take control of the Canal, and justified that American control over both was vital to the country’s security. He has also signaled American.
“Trump’s speech about Panama reminds me of another character’s speech about the Danzig corridor [na Polônia]”, says Nunes, who today represents Apex (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency) in Brussels.
