33 former BBBs have already contested elections; only 2 were elected

The 25th edition of the Big Brother Brasilreality show da TV Globo. Many participants take advantage of the program’s exposure to try to run for public office. However, most were ultimately unsuccessful.

Of all 24 previous editions, at least 33 former participants contested general or municipal elections. JANUARY 8

Despite not being elected, the participant in the 1st edition Adriano Castro caught attention in the political world for another reason.

Popularly known as Didi Red Pill, the former BBB member participated in the extremist acts of January 8th. The YouTuber made a live on his channel during the invasion of Praça dos Três Poderes.

He also participated in the camp in front of the Army Barracks in Bahia, set up by voters who were against the result of the 2022 elections.

Didi Rede Pill ran for councilor in Salvador (BA) for the Democrats in the 2008 municipal elections.
