A strong explosion in some homes on Zabalegui de Noáin street, in Pamplona, ​​has injured nine people, seven of whom have been transferred to the University Hospital of Navarra and two to the municipality’s health center.

The explosion occurred at 6:00 p.m. and may have affected between 10 and 15 homes, as police sources have informed EFE. The Provincial Police had established a security device for a gas leak and the explosion of the boiler in a home at 3:35 p.m. this Monday, which caused no injuries and “little material damage.” Subsequently, there was a second explosion that destroyed part of the semi-detached housing building.

Firefighters, ambulances, local police and Foral Police are in the area. Local residents have told EFE that a loud explosion was heard that made even the walls shake and left part of the town without power.
