Epsom salt improves plant growth as well as flower set. It is important not only for orchids, but also for tomatoes or roses. Apart from gardening, Epsom salt can also be used for medicinal and cosmetic purposes. But it is also used as a cleaning agent in households.
How to fertilize with Epsom salt?
If you want to prepare a homemade Epsom salt fertilizer for orchids, you just need to dissolve one teaspoon or about 5 grams of Epsom salt in a liter of water. Allow the salt to dissolve well and then water the orchid with this solution at most once a week.
